Lucija's home town, Laško, is a charming spa town in central Slovenia, nestled in the Savinja Valley and surrounded by green hills, forests, and rivers. It lies close to Celje and is easily reached from Ljubljana and the main international airport.
The town is best known for its thermal spa resort, , where our civil ceremony and wedding reception will take place, as well as for the historic Laško Brewery, with over 200 years of brewing tradition.
Just above Laško, in the hills of Debro, Lucija’s family has a farm that has been part of family life for generations - a place that reflects the rural traditions, landscapes, and slower pace that define this part of Slovenia.
